Nazak Savitt

Nazak Savitt, born in Iran and raised in Paris, was one of the first female graduates at the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Creation Industrielle, France’s “grand ecole” of design. She trained at Pierre Dinand's atelier and Yves Saint Laurent's firm. She joined the design team of the Catalan architect Ricardo Bofill, where she worked on a wide range of design projects in both Paris and Barcelona. She then worked with Andree Putman, Ecart as a design director prior to her move to New York City. Nazak's design collection was carried in Calvin Klein Home, The Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago, Gump's and Bergdorf Goodman. She currently lives in Manhattan with her family.

Although Nazak’s creative sensibility is influenced mostly by her years in Paris, her Persian background is a bridge to the past, yielding a style that combines old and new, modern and traditional, in harmonious combination.

The philosophy of Nazak Design is that architecture and interiors should speak to each other in the language of light, colours, textures, compositions and materials. Our watchwords are commitment and integrity, and we bring our complete attention to small and large projects alike, from concept to finish.

"The design process is an ongoing dialogue, a collaboration and a constant refinement; where each design has his own vocabulary and history. I don't believe in a formula."
